It all started with a juice stand, which prompted the inimitable Lilly Pulitzer
to come up with a dress that would camouflage her fruit stains. The resulting
sleeveless shift, with its colorful patterns was not only perfect, it was
instantly the most charming item in her wardrobe. So much so, she stopped selling
juice and started selling dresses. Now celebrating 50 years of success, they
